Welcome back! We're all here for you! And many of us are on C2. At

any rate, we all need the support. Congrats on renewed focus.

Stay strong!

> Hi everyone,

>

> I also decided that I am going to try to post here every day. I

> One further change I made this challenge: I started an account at

> Thanks for listening!

Hi Fellow Feisties,

Well, I've been home for nearly 3 weeks, and am remiss about not

posting sooner. Truth be, I've been inundated with company since

coming home, family and friends eager to help, and help they have!

I'm feeling so good about my decision to have the surgeries. Most

importantly the disabling nerve pain having been relieved is one of

the greatest rewards.

My strength continues to increase daily, I'm trying my best to walk

every other day and have managed to get up to a mile and a half,

always with my cane and a companion. I'm not the fastest walker, but

I walk! In a fit of cabin fever yesterday, i took the car to the

video store, bad girl! I was desperate!

After a few freaky episodes in the hospital as a result of a high

dose of beloved OXY, I've been very conscious of coming off narcotics

sooner than later...any thoughts about this?

Carol, thank you for the card, it arrived at home on Monday,

forwarded from NEB. How thoughtful of you. Thanks for the cheer and

bringing a smile to my face.

Ann, It was great meeting you, I'll be there for you in June!

Sharon, I hope you don't mind, I shared your story with Dr. Rand, and

he wanted me to asure you that you shouldn't be afraid of making that

1st appointment, regardless of which Dr. you see, you should consider

information gathering, and he's very familar with spina bifida.

, I'd love to know how you're doing.

My best to all...Hooray for all this new light and warmth

Hi, Corina.

Glad you're home and feeling happy. I haven't forgotten; I do mean to give you

a call.

Thanks for the encouragement. He-he, I'll have to find out what you told Doc

Rand about me! I guess he'll have his work cut out for him by the time I'm

finished building this big pond! I got the biggest rocks moved from around the

old, small pond today, with the help of a neighbor girl. Just got out of the

whirlpool tub, and I'm hoping an extra dose of Celebrex will be all I need. I

really hope to get the guy with the backhoe in here some time in the next two

weeks. Oh, and my mother-in-law is coming from overseas to visit, arriving next

Wednesday. Loads of fun ahead!

Anyway, I hope to talk to you soon, and hear more about how you are managing.

Take care,

Sharon
