Guest guest Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 , No, there is no aspirin in Tylenol (that I know of) but many of us have a cross-sensitivity to Tylenol due to the similar chemical structures between acetaminophen (Tylenol) and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). I do have this problem. One problem is it can be very difficult to detect because it may cause a much smaller grade reaction. I have had very good results eliminating Tylenol. There is no over-the-counter conventional pain relief medicine someone who is allergic to aspirin and NSAIDs (ibuprofen, etc) and Tylenol can take in the US. I don't know about other countries, and I don't know about homeopathic and other such remedies. Not only is there nothing over-the-counter for pain, but it's very difficult to find prescription medications that don't contain Tylenol. Hope this helps, which I had a better answer for you.
