Guest guest Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 ine, I really didn't want to get into this discussion so much again, but I guess I really must be misunderstanding all of your posts. You previously said in a post <<Lori, We definately do produce endogenous acetysalicylic acid as a breakdown product of melatonin. >>. I took that to mean we produced aspirin. I didn't know you hadn't meant to say we produce aspirin in our bodies. If I had known that, this discussion never would have been necessary to begin with. I never claimed to under how aspirin desensitization works. If I understood that, I would know more than the researchers do. But if my body is already making aspirin I would understand it even less and be less likely to go through this time-consuming, expensive and risky process for yet a third time. Lori Quote
