Guest guest
hi stephanie - i hope you are still feeling well. i think it is great that your diet is working, it doesnt matter who gave it to you! i asked because my ENT suggested that my polyps might be food related. she is very open to holistic medicine, diet changes, etc. i read in one of your posts that you tried sue dengate's diet. did it help you at all? are you staying away from fruits/veggies that are high in salicytes? i wonder if your new diet is working becasue you are avoiding food colors, additives, or it is a sensitivity to wheat, soy, etc. it seems to me that there are two ways to go with a dies - avoiding common allergens like soy, dairy, wheat, etc or concentrating more on avoiding natural salicytes and amines. both diets eliminate preservatives and colors. anyway, i hope swimming is going well for you. indoor pools are terrible for me - the clorine smell makes me stuffy and wheezy immediately! jennifer (ny) > Dear everyone, > First, sorry I took so long to get back to you all but I am in high school > so I have a lot of homework and plus I am swimming right now. Guest guest
Hi , I am delighted that you have found something that works. That is great news. I am sorry that the low dose naltrexone did not work for you. I really am. I am curious about what dose of naltrexone you are currently on though? Guest guest
Dear , I am on 4.5 mg of Naltrexone. It's a very lose dose. The higher doses are not for Samterites, but for people that are trying to get off of drugs/alcohol I believe. - K (Michigan)
Guest guest
Dear jennifer, I tried Sue Dengate's diet but it did not work at all for me. Only once after eating dinner of fish and rice did I notice a difference, one time. Now I eat fruits and veggies that are on the list, I eat blueberries, pears, strawberries, bananas ect. I can't have corn, oranges, and grapefruit. They are on the list that I typed up. On Dengates diet I also avoided colors, preservatives, hydrogenated oils, additives, artificial flavors, ect. But now I am avoiding the gluten products, dairy, wheat, soy, beef, and other things, just look at the list. - K. (Michigan)
