Hi!

In response to the question, my sister in law usually vaccinated her son.

She rarely takes him to the doctor for well visits or if he is sick but

since he is in daycare, she gets his shots. She usually only gets his shots

when they tell her, Get his vaccinations or don't bring him back!

She doesn't NOT vaccinate because she doesn't believe in it, only because it

costs her money to do it. (Wrong reason not to vaccinate in my opinion.)

But as far as I know, he has just recently caught up all of his vaccinations

to what his daycare requires. He was 'expelled' from the center for quite

some time because he was not current.

Right now, he has bronchitis again. He is 3 years old, by the way.

has anything to do with " state of mind " Maybe b/c mommy is always sick,

Ear infections are a big problem, esp. in day care centers. I think the

lack in nutrition and esp. during my generation my mother, as were

others, were not encouraged to breastfeed. I believe more often than not

ear infections relate to food allergies, esp. considering milk is

introduced at that age. I don't thing a vaccine is the answer. I think

building up the immunity of a child, keeping the child at home when an

infection ensues, good hygiene, better nutrition, breastfeeding, less

vaccines, etc. would help far more. I also believe using chiropractic

and homeopathic or other alt. health forms is far more beneficial than

antibiotics.
