Guest guest Posted March 25, 2010 Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 We have now created a new Home Page Message on our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk in the hope that all medical practitioners and endocrinologists will start to ask similar questions of the medical authorities and the GMC. We already know that there are a growing number of doctors who are not happy with the mainstream guidelines on the diagnosis and management of hypothyroidism. When I first opened Thyroid Patient Advocacy to campaign, I was told over and over again to be very careful and not to ruffle feathers. Not ruffling feathers has not helped patients suffering with thyroid disease - so let's hope this wind of change will ruffle the feathers of the RCP, BTA, SoE et al, and bring about the changes we so badly need.
