I saw a girl's name on a name tag (working in a store). it was Iesha. I asked her how it was pronounced and she said, " eye-eesha " Isn't that pretty? And a friend's daughter is Shamara. I love that. I enjoy keeping up with what is going on there in Memphis, Have a friend in NY who keeps me up to date what is going on with her DS group too. Wish the parents here would get there crap together and form a group for young adults, would help me to know I am not the only parent concerned about the lack of services here in our county, altho I am getting flyer to gether to try and get them to come to meeting in April for the Independent for Living branch and all the services that can be brought in , I am really working for this and to get a branch of ARC here too. Guest guest
I love the name " choices " It really says it all. Every day we make so many choices and they all impact how we look and feel, how our bodies and how our minds function. We are in control to decide if we are going to feel up or down. If we are going to celebrate with each LifeLift breath we take, or if we are going to make it a chore to do something healthy for ourselves. Great ideas coming from you, as usual, Connie. Thanks for being so creative. This is a very positive way to look at everything we do concerning our health and well being. Guest guest
How about 'Somatoform Hypothyroidism'? *grin* Luv - Sheila Dear Bob and All, Somatofraud is right on !!! Differential diagnostics demand that ALL etiologies for the symptoms be considered. This stems from the logic. If A or B or C or ... is true, which differential diagnostics assumes. Then as the various assumed etiologie are proven to be false, then the one remaining must be true unless they did not get all of the potential etiologies. This of course would be the case is all were proven false. And then if there were two or more not proven false, then the medical arts begin or more tests are required. The problem with functional somatoform disorder is done withour postulating all of the physical possibilities..... Hence you are right somatofraud.....
