Guest guest
I asked the question that keeps coming up as to why salt is needed / works for bromide release. 1. Chloride and bromide are both halides and compete with each other 2. Chloride can push bromide out and visa versa 3. Sodium binds to bromide and carries it out I got mixed up and thought the chloride was binding - it's the sodium.
