You can do the loading test with bromide levels to see if you are toxic. If you are toxic then odds are you are going to need more. That's how I did it. I wanted the bromide because I knew it was my best chance at keeping the cancer at bay (thyroid). My bromide levels were at 34 when I increased.

How to tell if you need more Iodoral?

I have been taking 50 mg of Iodoral for about six months along with NDT due to being thyroidless (cancer).I am trying to figure out how to tell if I need more than 50 as I know some of you are using. I can't find anything that tells me how to tell if I do need more other than to just take more. I don't want to take any more than I need (due to $$) but I want to take enough to feel the best I can.Thanks for any ideas on this! Michele (NoCal)
