Coffee!

Hello and thanks for being here. Thought I'd get your attention with

the " Coffee " subject :-)

I'm a 59 yr old who has recently been introduced to this way of

eating, recommended by a nurse practitioner. I've been mostly eating

(well, more or less avoiding) the " O " way for only about a week.

Aside from feeling so much better, the intestinal gas I experienced

every afternoons has stopped (bread with the noon sandwich).

Now I'm probably going to upset the apple cart here but coffee is the

tough one for me to end. I drink 2 cups in the morning. I so look

forward to stumbling into the kitchen to the already brewed ambrosia

and waking up to the steaming magic potion. I assume it's the acidity

that's the culprit for we O's; are there low acid coffees that can be

used or any kind of substitutes? Or shall I continue to be a bad

girl? I've tried going off coffee several times before " just because "

and have always gone back to it; it seems my body requires it :-)

Also, does anyone have a real good O friendly miso dressing recipe for

salad?

Chere

Dear AllI think this has been through Senate already, but now I have had a chance to look at it its an incredibly useful resource, particularly for health visitors. Do pass onto colleagues and the NSPCC would appreciate it if you and others formally pledge your support on the campaign page as they can use large numbers as a lever for change. Do encourage any colleagues and contacts to pledge their support at:http://allbabiescount.nspcc.org.uk/ The research report can also be accessed electronically at:http://allbabiescount.nspcc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/NSPCC-All-babies-count-research.pdf Cheryll
