Guest guest
Lehnanne, My husband has been severly harassed. His has held his head up high and I am very proud of him. I will stand by my belief about all the " military members " harassing refusers: When they (the ones who take the shot) are sick and their wives are taking care of them, I will be holding my healthy husband's hand. Guest guest
Christi, That is what my husband and I feel. I ask him how he is doing and he tells me " Nothing that any of these people can do will last as long as the fear if I take it ... " So he is doing much better than me = ) I am being strong for him but inside I am a nervous wreck I leave for mom's tomorrow, hubby goes underway (even though he has not taken the shot .. so much for that non-deployable status theory) and will stand Capts Mast underway .. we think .. he has yet to be written up for refusing and it has been a week ... they talked like it was going bam bam bam .. but not are dragging their feet ... the Chaplain seems to think that they are going to drag their feet until today (he watches the video) .... they dont want to write him up and have to deal with paperwork if he is going to buckle after watching the film ... the dont know my husband very well ... I have never seen him so determined ... he spent an hour and a half on the phone with the reporter from the Navy Times and is calling every other reporter that he sees with an article on this situation ... Speaking of Navy Times .. there is ANOTHER article about Anthrax Vaccine in this weeks issue!!! We bought a copy last night .. haven't read it yet but it is there!!! Guest guest
Peace... Your husband should be honored for his stance. It is only getting more and more ridiculous, we have mandatory flu shots now and they ( TMC) don't even check to see if you are on any medication... The question is what is the next step, obviously our various systems of checks and balances are failing. Congressional members are fumbling and the ACLU which defends some of our worse citizens has not responded... Continue pressing on and writing letters. We may LOSE now but in the end we will WIN!!!!! Guest guest
I completely agree. I married my husband in sickness and health. Not for him to be a lab rat for the military. Jeff worked at the prison for 3 years prior to joining the military. Not once was Jeff sick. He never used his sick leave for himself, it was because our son was ill. 3 years of working around inmates and only getting the hep b shots and a yearly flu shot (mandatory by the prison). Yet he has been in the military 2 years and has gotten sick on several occasions. Head colds, flu, stomach viruses. His unit can call him any name they want, in my eyes he is a hero and a wonderful father and husband for putting his family first. Guest guest
Walt, Wow, thank you for all the kind words about me, I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. You are quite the special guy yourself you know! You know if there is anything I can share with you to help you succeed I will, no problem! What a great weekend we had huh? Almost a religious experience you know! I will miss everyone tremendously until we can all be together again. I still think we need to get Bill to buy a big island where all of us BFLers can go live together and be permanently surrounded by such positive people all the time! ;^)~ But then again we wouldn't be able to share what we know with those around the world that need us so badly! Its been a true pleasure, thank you for being you! Your lifetime friend in fitness, Randi Lynn ----Original Message Follows---- From: Walter L Sinchak <wcsinchak@...> Reply-bodyforlifeegroups Bodyforlifeegroups Subject: Thoughts Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2000 10:48:40 -0700 Hey everybody, Sorry that I've been quiet lately I finished my first round and then took some me time to reflect on the change and also to get ready for the awesome weekend we had in Vegas. For those who could not attend where ever the next one is would highly recommend that you go no matter what! The information you can receive will help propel you to the next level in your change. You just don't realize the power of spending Three days with people like Hank (Harry) , , Abb Ansely, Vickie Mangum the knowledge that these individuals give so freely is incredible. I can't describe with words how awesome it was to spend a whole day with Harry talking as Thu we had been life long friends. The chance to put real names to screen names is also another chance to meet some very awesome and caring people like Gloria who really did an awesome job at putting this weekend together if it was not for people like her we never would have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people THANK YOU GLORIA. Then there are some more wonderful people like and Jimmy who are truly a loving and caring couple and it is my privilege to know them. Randi Lynn is truly a wonderful and caring person who gives of her self freely and openly and is truly a champion in her own right Thanks for the lower body work out and the info you so freely gave without hesitation you have helped me to achieve the next level and on a personal note Randi is a very beautiful person on the outside as well as inside its an honor to know her. Kay is another wonderful and beautiful lady who will be joining our club shortly she is also on her way to becoming the champion thats inside of her. ( Taz ) you are truly a beautiful person your photos don't show the real inter beauty thats inside of you it was my pleasure to meet you and your partner I hope his arm heals quickly, you are truly a shining star an a true inspiration to those lives and souls you are fortunate to encounter I'am glad that you encountered mine Thank you. If you ever have the opportunity to meet your coach I recommend that you spend as much time with that person as possible you give that person your trust, confidence, and your belief in them that they can some how help you. I had the rare pleasure of meeting my coach and I'm not talking about her last because I forgot to mention her first. I'm mentioning last because she has had the most impact on me this weekend and we always save the best for last. 's spirit and zest for life and the way she freely gives one of the most valuable things that we have which is time is rare and deeply appreciated by myself. The knowledge that posses and passes on is worth more that money could buy you cannot be around and not get pumped about life and living. In the gym is a very focused and intense partner to workout with she has the ability to inspire you to new levels and she definitely can show you a true 10! you can wright about it you can even talk about it but until somebody shows you how to achieve a true 10 your just hitting 9's. Outside of the gym is a free spirt and a live life large person she is just as inspiring and just plain fun to be around. I would be honored for you to continue to be my Body for Life Success Coach as I start my next 12. You have my trust and confidence You say it and I'll do it so lets do it to it. To all the Coaches all I can say is reach down and push your people up you do make a difference and your people are watching and listening so don't let them down. To all of you who are being coached reach up and take your coaches hand they are reaching out to help take you to places you can't take yourselves. If one day I could help just one person as much as this group has helped me than that would be reward enough and when my light goes out I can look back and say Man I did it I made a difference and the world is a better place because I was here. God Bless all of you Champions and keep the Vision. One Team One Dream Walt : )) ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Guest guest
Yep...all about progress and you sure seem to be making it....Z Re: Thoughts Kit, Thanks for the response. I feel pretty good about my results, but I am not where I want to be yet so it is hard to feel too self-satisfied. So here I go again. Staying with the program wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I only did my cardio in the morning about 20% of the time and I am sure that hurt my progress, and I probably indulged on portion size too often. I am going to try to improve in those areas on the next session. Thanks, Mark
