Customs charges and Royal Mail Charges for supplements

Can you please tell me if you have ever been asked to pay VAT and Royal Mail handling charges on any supplements you have bought from any overseas pharmacies - not just the USA but from any other country in the world. I need to find out whether it is just IP that is being targeted or if this is happening elsewhere. I know myself that I buy supplements on a regular basis from other pharmaceutical companies in other countries, which cost more than Armour and I have NEVER been asked to pay any charges whatsoever. I ordered high dose CoEnzymeQ10 and high dose Niacin for a couple of weeks ago and bought several bottles to last, and this value well over £150. These came from the USA. I was not asked to pay VAT or any other charges.

If you have been told to pay such charges on any other supplements besides Armour and HC or from any other company other than IP, please let me know as soon as possible.
