Is that 60(fat)/20(carbs)/20(protein)? or protein/fat/carbs (it's really hard to eat red meat and stay at that 20% fat, especially with adding in good fats, like olive, flax, etc. Ellen
Guest guest
The 60-20-20 number I'm ignoring is 60% carb, 20% protein, 20% fat. I am fortunate to have a local brand of longhorn ground beef (from all cuts including steak cuts) which is 98% fat free so I am able to get protein without having to add fat. I do add olive oil into the meat for moisture and because it's a good fat source. _____ From: Ellen [mailto:mzellen03@...] Sent: Sunday, December 12, 2004 12:49 PM Subject: Re: Diet for losing weight questions Diet for losing weight questions > Anyway, I've decided to > ignore the 60-20-20 recommendations and go with ' prescription of > 200 > g of protein per day.
