Guest guest
That's because Dr. Brownstein believes in saturation of the body with iodine and Nascent Iodine does not do that. He does use Detoxified Iodine for his more sensitive patients but that is rare. He had me start that with my kids when they were small but it was ineffective so we switched them to Lugol's in the form of Iodoral. His work with Dr. Abraham is on Lugol's formula. The iodine loading test is based on the premise that all iodine that is not needed for saturation will be eliminated in the urine. Excessive Iodine Hi,I have recently started taking Nacsent Iodine, and just now finishedlooking at Dr Browntein's Iodine lecture via DVD. It is veryinformative, but he doesn't mention Nascent Iodine. Does anyone herehave experience or thoughts around Nascent Iodines effectiveness?I am also wondering if the body can easily elliminate any excessiveIodine, once ones levels have come up to the required levels.I look forward to your thoughts.Regards,

Lugols is a much greater mg dose of Iodine and Potassium Iodide. Guest guest
Many thanks Steph, I shall go and source some Lugol's this very moment. This forum is fantastic. A great support. . Guest guest
The Nascent Iodine from this link is the one that I have been having. I have had no problems with it. But they do suggest that it isn't taken later in the afternoon, as it can disturb your sleep, due to the extra cellular energy released.I haven't notice any raised blood pressure or change in heart beat. I hace been having it with the Magnesium Chloride (also mention on the same site), as they report that they work well together. Feels good to me! .
