I bought mine at an Asian market (in California). It is called Genmai Cha Green

Tea with Roasted Rice and is manufactured by Yamamotoyama, which company the box

says " began as a tea merchant back in 1690. " They have a website listed on the

box: www.yamamotoyama.com .

Finding Green tea w. roasted rice

I have seen several postings this past week about Green Tea with

Roasted rice. This sounds great!!

Please could someone post where this can be found/bought and the

brand name of it.

In Canada it may be harder for us to find that in the USA.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Hi Toni

I'm in Canada (, BC) . . . we have several Japanese grocery stores,

where you can buy supplies for making sushi. They have several different

sizes and brands of green tea with roasted rice as well as the twig tea.

The roasted rice tea is dirt cheap! A bag that lasts several months for $6.

The twig tea is very expensive!

Hi Toni,

I am in Toronto and have bought both Gen Mai Cha (green tea with

roasted brown rice) and Kukicha (twig tea) at Whole Foods at very

reasonable prices - $3.99 and $3.69 respectively. So I'm not really

sure why others say the twig tea is pricey?

If you aren't in a city with a Whole Foods, try a good health food

store or asian store.

:)

Becuase it is listed at over 6 in the states, depending on where you get it.
