Guest guest Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Something that I was thinking about and trying to understand-if iodine gets absorbed by many other tissues in the body and not only thyroid cells then how come during an iodine whole body scans the whole body does not light up like a christmas tree?
