That's why I eat no grain AT ALL. My diet is about 60% animal fat,

mostly satured, 30% animal protein, and 10% or less carb (very few

fruit, and some vegetables). Never felt better in my life...

Hi,I am on a similar diet. Would you be willing to share any book or web site that helped you with menu planning? It gets boring. Respond to me directly if you think this is off topic, please. sambrick_5@... I didn't knew that Dr. Jan Kwasniewski had a english site, neither

that his book was translated to english, and I'm half polish! :-)

Other sites and books of consideration are Eades " Protein Life

Powerplan " , and his new " The 6-Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle:

The Simple Plan to Flatten Your Belly Fast! " , to be released September

8. He and his wife have wroten a book with recipes: " The Low-Carb

Comfort Food Cookbook " . He has, also, a very informative blog.

& Eades cookbook:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0471267570/qid=1105233320/sr=2-1?n=283155

http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike

His wife, Dr. Dan Eades, has also a blog with some recipes and

recommendations on recipe books:

http://www.proteinpower.com/drmd_blog/

Her recommendations on cooking books:

http://www.proteinpower.com/drmd_blog/?p=379

Finally, these blogs are not about cooking, but have very GOOD

information about health/diet:

Stephan Guyenet's WholeHealthSource:

http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/

's Hyperlipid:

http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.com/

Take care!

Would you be willing to share some menu ideas with the group because I would be

interested in following your style of diet.

Good for you!In my life, everything has been pointing me in that direction. One or two years ago I found at a dollar store (no less!), Dr. Mercola's book "The No-Grain Diet" but at the time I was not very receptive to it, even though in the past I'd done Atkins and my own modified low-carb diet and felt much better on them. Then in April when new symptoms started to crop up I was led to Doug Kaufmann's website (www.knowthecause.com) and began taping his TV show (btw, recipes are given in many of them and he has a cookbook for the Phase 1 and 2 diets). My problem is that I haven't been able to get off all starches, I think in part I don't really want to, feel pretty deprived already and since I'm still exposed to mold, I don't think diet will completely solve all my problems.Raquel>> That's why I eat no grain AT ALL.
