Guest guest
I went to amazon.com and read the reviews on this book, The Fibromyalgia Solution, By Dr. Drylan. It received 3 stars of affermation. It sounds like the drug mentioned has lots of bad side effects. Drugs are drugs! They are foreign to our body and therefore are body tries to reject them with side effects. The one review stated she was taking Lyrica and tolerating it. If she can tolerate Lyrica, I can't imagine what the side effects were of the Meripex. (she was a patient of Dr. Drylan when put on Mirepex) This lady was later in the clinical trials of the Milcinipan (anti- depressant), a new drug being tested for FMS. She has Chronic Myofascial Pain as I do. She became pain free while in the trials and after the trial ended her symptoms came back. She said that Milcinipan should be available in October. Dopamine may be the problem. I feel it is nuerological. I am taking the low dose Naltrexone, which causes the body to make endorphins. I am doing well. Maybe this LDN also affects Dopamine? I have absolutely no side effects from the LDN. I can't say that when I was taking Lyrica. Guest guest
>My girlfriend is on Milcinipan and loves it .told me it helps her bi- polar and depression. Her Shrink is already giving it to her too. My mom in Germany were on the clinical trials for this when we met her in 1983 in Germany. Her Dr told me she Had Fibroitis the Milcinipan can help take away the pain. as for now I am only one one drug for my Fibro :)Gabapentin. 300 mg one inAm and one in afternoon and 2 at 10 p.m. with my liptor. Got of of elavil for sleep so what i do is warm bath or shower at 9-9:30 hot cup of chamomile tea at 10 P.M. with my meds two calcium with vitamin D3 in along with 800 mg of magnesium and I sleep with no more waking up so much to go to the bathroom.Sometimes through the night. Yet thuogh i still wake up hurting. But not as many heart palpitations. But yes what works fro one person might not work fora another on either. Next to Milcinipan my girlfriend is also on Cymbalta too. Hugs Heidi > I went to amazon.com and read the reviews on this book, The > Fibromyalgia Solution, By Dr. Drylan. Guest guest
Hi , I am going to Dr. (fmtlc.com) in Sacramento, and I am on a high dose of Valtrex (antiviral) right now. I'm in month two of doing six months of it. (1 gram twice a day) They have had good success with it, and I tested at a high titer load for most of those viruses below plus a few others. I am going through a bad " die off " reaction since I started it, though, so it is a rough road. I am having hope because I am told that this " feeling worse " is a good sign that it will eventually get better. I have been really sick this month, though..it gets worse before it gets better. He starts his patients off initially trying to balance the methylation cycle before he treats with antivirals. These are supplements that everyone should be on right now: Folapro (a form of folate that our bodies can process because we cannot process " normal " folate well), methylcobalamin sublinguals, glutathione 40% cream that you rub on your foot, it is compounded at certain pharmacies (or SAM-e can be substituted), molybdenum, and phosphatidyl serine. Take care, and let me know if you have any questions. Jen > > Has anyone read the book by Dr. Dantini called, The New > Fibromyalgia Remedy?
