Guest guest
Hi group, What is the strategy for using protocols. For a condition D'Adamo might list 3 protocols. Instructions are to follow for 1 to 12 weeks. Do you start with the condition of greatest concern? Do you use all the protocols or rotate between them? My top priority right now is to get out of the obesity classification. It's going to take more than a few weeks to do that. How frequently can protocols be repeated? Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Cheryl
Guest guest
Hey Cheryl Is obesity your only real problem? What protocols are you considering? Guest guest
I got started with the blood type diet as a recommendation from a naturopathic doctor. I went to him for insomnia since sleep disorders were one of his specialties. He explained that my insomnia was promoting my weight problems, they all went together. I've also had depression/anxiety issues, again tying in with the sleep. I've had a major improvement in the sleep, so I'm more focused on the weight. Fortunately I don't have high blood pressure, high cholesterol or high triglycerides. My fasting blood glucose is 85. I want to get the weight under control before I do develop these problems. My other issues besides obesity would still probably be insomnia and anxiety. I think I still have a susceptibility to those coming back. > Hi group, > What is the strategy for using protocols. Guest guest
The blood type plan can work wonders by itself. I believe it really calmed me down and that improvement really happened quickly when I started the diet 2 years ago. However, if you have a few things that need specific additional help then add in what you need from the protocols. I assume the doctor thinks your sleep problem is related to your obesity because of stress hormones. Don't forget that Os need exercise. That should help your stress/sleep. What is your sleep problem? Do you have trouble falling asleep or do you wake up in the middle of the night, or both? Don > > Hi group, > > What is the strategy for using protocols.
