Guest guest
>These stones must be calcified, that is why they are not coming out with the >flushes. Or perhaps, just perhaps, the flush doesn't actually " flush " stones (calcified or otherwise) out of your system at all. As long as I've been on this list, no one has been able to show a " before and after " set of ultrasound sonograms which show stones and then, after a series of flushes, no stones. Sorry to be so skeptical, but the evidence presented on this list is anecdotal at best. As much as we'd all like it to be true, I think it is terribly unlikely that anyone can flush out a 1.2 cm stone. ....Bill
Guest guest
Ops I've also been without an attack for over a year now and have even eaten foodsthat would have guaranteed me a night of pain two years ago.
Guest guest
- I don't know where you live---here in Utah they are kept in the hospital or clinic where they are taken. They are in the radiology department office. It's like a library of yellow manila envelopes. We can go check them out to look at or take to other doctor's offices for other opinions, appointments, etc. When my little boy broke his arm last year I had to check his x-ray out to take to the specialist. I had those films for months and never got a phone call. I think I probably could have kept them. They didn't act like it was a big deal when I showed up five months later to return them. I think if you have a case where they need to keep taking films to see if something is changing, they would want to keep them for comparison. But if it's a one-time thing like a bone or an ultra-sound, maybe you could check it out and keep it, or just ask if you can keep it. They'd have to throw stuff out after awhile anyway, just to make room. I guess technically the hospital owns them, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Guest guest
Thanks to those who commented about getting those ultrasound pictures back. I will call the doctor's office tomorrow. (I meant to today, but time just flew by!) Thanks again for your responses in health,
Guest guest
, The two times I've gotten an ultrasound over the last 3 months I keep both the written reports and the pictures. As far as I know they are yours if you request them. They are pictures of your body which the radiologist would have no use for anyway. Maybe they have kept yours on file and you just have to request them...?
