Yes, the Diabetes and Cancer books are out, I think Allergy and

Arthritis will come out toward the end of summer, Fatigue is in the

editing stages. There are blood type specific risk questionnaires

and lots of other interesting info. I'm sure I'll buy them all.

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering when that menopause book

would come. Looks like I'll have to wait another year. I'm usually

on the borderline of low to moderate risk for most of these things,

but I have found interesting info in both the Diabetes and Cancer

books. Diabetes is most relevant with me with obesity and

hypoglycemia. I figure since I live in a large city, the pollution

exposure is enough to take some preventive measures toward cancer.

I'll mainly be looking at preventive info. There are always tidbits

of info about a food or supplement that help with understanding the

basic info. I'm not one to just eat the foods and be happy, I like

to know why they're better for me.

Thanks again, Cheryl

I'll have to get back with you on that, don't have the book handy. I

know there is more specific info on certain cancers, but can't

remember if skin cancer is one of them.

The cancer book does have supplement recommendations based on type of

cancer and there is a subset for skin cancers. Quercetin and beta-

carotene are a couple of the things recommended. Of course, melanoma

is just about the only cancer with an increased risk for Type O's.

We are also more likely to have metastasic melanoma. You should

probably get hold of this book. The risk quiz is for all cancers and

does not include skin coloring, but I think it's reasonable to factor

that in on your own.
