This sounds too familiar. My inital flare-up was when I was 18, and I was living

in Mexico. The doctor (a very old and establish internist in my city) kept

saying that " the collegen " was the problem, but never told me what was the name

of my condition. Anyways, I got treated with Benzetazyl (sp??) injections (very

painful be the way) for about 9 months.

The Reiter's diagnosis was actually made by another doctor. Recently I went to

the first doctor asking for a report of what he had diagioned. He gave me a

letter where he said he had diagnosed me with poliomesitis (or something like

that, sorry I am using the spanish term).

So I was actually originally treated for something different than Reiter's, but

I guess at the end the conditions are kind of similar.

Regards,

Gerardo

Geraldo,

I did the antibiotics for four and a half years and it helped enormously. I

thin added the best supplements on the market which helped me fall into remssion

and get off completely from the antibiotics and meds.

If you need more info about the antibiotic protocol- I can tell you all

about it and teach it t you. I have been helping others for years now since I am

a nurse.

e,

What can you tell me about the role that antibiotics play in treating Reiters?

I am taking doxycline (1.5 months, enbrel (2 weeks) and indocine (9 months).

The only thing that seems to help at all is the Indocine. What more can I be

doing to feel better and get better, I am sick of being in pain all the time.

Thanks
