Guest guest
, I'm always overwhelmed when I read your history of problems. It's amazing what strength you have! I wish you weren't suffering so - now or before. Even though the RA meds may reduce inflammation and slow the progression of the disease, in many cases, pain may have to be treated separately. What meds are you currently on for pain? There are so many effective medications out there for pain that I'm sure there is something that can help you. You need a doctor who understands the nature of pain and who is willing to treat it appropriately. Good communication between you and your physician is a must. Does you doctor know how much pain you are in now? If your doctor does know, and isn't helping you, you need to go to someone else who will. Please don't live with the pain. Many of us are too willing to accept and live with terrible, chronic pain. We talked about pain and pain meds a lot over the last few weeks, but you may have missed many of the discussions because of your surgery and your difficult recovery. It's all there in the archives, but I would be happy to post whatever you need to know. ----- Original Message ----- From: " " <dat2352@...> < > Sent: Sunday, February 25, 2001 10:23 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Welcome, Wanda! > Wanda, > I read your note and said yes, yes quite a few times.
