Guest guest
From LR4YT concerning Candida Infection: Stresses the importance of bowel health. Increase use of olive Oil. Stinging Nettle Probiotic bacteria; particularly L. acidophilus, L. reuteri, and L.casei. Thyme Leaf, oregano leaf, and rosemary leaf. Kelp (Laminaria digitata) or bladderwrack. Clove Fruit is not listed in the candida section, however it is listed as a rich source of eugenol, an anti-imflammatory and anti- ulcer compound. I truly hope your child gets well soon. Guest guest
I forgot to mention that Dr. D's website now has the health protocols from the encyclopedia available. You might want to check out the Allergy Control Protocols listed there for additional help with your child's hives and eczema. Quercitin and stinging nettle are listed in the Allergy Control Protocols. One effect both of them have is like an antihistamine. Guest guest
Thank you - That is just what i was looking for. And I will check out D'Adamo's site, but I did what is recommended (except the stinging nettle, which I found hard to find in my local store) when I last had a candida attack. Guest guest
Maybe Bach Rescue Remedy Cream would be helpful for the itching. After watching his diet carefully and still not having it get better, I started him on a children's acidophilus suppliment to help balance his intestinal flora The candida die off is giving him hives. I've had the same problem before in the past, and I got a lot of relief from eating a few spices D'Adamo specifically listed for hives/candida in Live Right 4 Your Type. The help I need are which spices these were. I remember cloves. I think thyme, or rosemary, or both, but I can't remember for sure, and I can't think of any others. Plus, I can't remember if the cloves were good for candida because they killed the bacteria, or because they acted as an antihistimine... I can't stand watching him suffer, not to mention he's itching so much he's tearing up his skin...I am debating getting the spices or getting a children's antihistimine to get him through this. Thanks for any help Claudine
