Guest guest
I found it hard to break the habit of relaxing over a hot drink. Perhaps try a great cocoa powder with an OK milk product (not cow milk). Or find a tea you like. Hang in there. I quit coffee cold turkey after being addicted to it, because I was trying to get pregnant and the headaches nearly killed me. I had withdrawl for 3 weeks after that. I transitioned to hot cocoa, this was before I was off cow milk. Ghiradelli makes great mixes that are sold in my grocery stores. Or buy unsweetened dutch cocoa and add sugar when making your own cup. Just an idea.
Guest guest
I do love tea ...but its not as nicely naughty as the cocoa. I tried a sampling of exotic chocolate at a New Year's Eve celebration and was enamored with a dark cocoa and chile blend finished with toasted cocoa beans from Venezuela.....whoa dude! Nevertheless, the art of tea is equally as sensual... in an English/Oriental sort of way...a kind of proper/mystical beverage with hints of gardening and of adventures along the Silk road.... Now wine is quite another story.... (paying homage to the aqueis Gods) RE: quitting coffee I found it hard to break the habit of relaxing over a hot drink. Guest guest
Yes Max, Even with both tires flat, the seat is missing and everything is uphill, I keep getting on the damn thing to pedal as hard as I can and grinnin as I go...it's a nasty habit but the strange thing is...I seem to get some enjoyment from it! I'm not sure if it's the flat tires or the missing seat that keeps me coming back, butt so far the fleeting glee seems to outweigh the pain. We humans sure are a crazy lot! Call an exorcist. Fortunately, I do have a smattering of logic in addition to my not so smart ass...and we will prevail!...even if it kills me.... Hmmm, thanks not logical....
