When I think of grains I think about gluten. Foods with high gluten and high starch are bad for us. Mainly, I minimize eating any grains as much as possible because they're minimally neutral, especially when you're not eating ample protein and vegetables. YOu can eat the things in the neutral and that can be grain or starches but only a little bit and if you can get over it have none at all!!! Eat lots of veggies and protein from the list of ok things. Then you will feel better, but first you have to get balanced and the only way to get balanced is to get your diet correct!!! To do that meanings cutting out the problem things and not even try to hold on to them. It is not the gluten that is a problem with wheat or any of the other avoid or neutral grains. Spelt (secretors), rye, and kamut, which are neutral for Os have significant amounts of gluten but therefore must be avoided by those that are gluten intolerant.
