Guest guest
I forgot to give the title to the book for the class it is: Encyclopedia of Natural Healing (s), Pearson Education. I also am American Pharmaceutical Sales Association Certified. Upon a closer look at my classes, I found that I am closer to three not two years away form my degree for Alternative Medicines. Guest guest
Hello again, Natural Medicines, Comprehensive Database Pharmacist Letter and Prescription Letter, published by Therapeutic Research Faultily (all doctors) Most people do not know about it therefore the information is not out there. I believe that you can buy them for 100 – 150 dollars. I believe from the UK. Hope this helps --- Lee <jackalope_lepus@...> wrote: > Hi April, What is the title? Author? Guest guest
I agree with you entirely, Connie. That is why I have founded Flu_Alternative_Medicine/ (This group will be formally announced here later after has joined it). I have nothing against Alternative Medicine as long as it does not try to usurp the role of official medicine. My own view is that official medicne does a whole hell of a lot more good than Alternative Medicine, but that is not Alternative Medicine's goal. Alternative Medicine's goal is to make people feel better, and there is and should be nothing wrong with that. But I know that others feel differently. > Whatsa matter.you don't like a healthy debate? Guest guest
So is it geared to support or object to alternative medicine, I assume to support those who believe in it, right? I am sorry it is getting late anything need to be spelled out for me at this point, sorry. PS - Is anyone trying to ignore me, if so if I have made everyone feel uncomfortable, I will leave. I do not want anyone uncomfortable. Thanks, April --- Lee <jackalope_lepus@...> wrote: > I agree with you entirely, Connie. Guest guest
Huh? Where did this come from? No. I saw that the membership here had dropped by two members and got worried. I want this group to grow. So just in case some people who believe in alternative medicine are unhappy here...if they are...I founded Flu_Alternative_Medicine/ I want people to be happy. > > So is it geared to support or object to alternative > medicine, I assume to support those who believe in it, > right? Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I was looking in the original ER4YT book and Dr. D. says that before surgery, even minor surgery, to take 2000 of Vit C and, I think it was 25,000 of Vit A for at least 4 or 5 days prior. I am having some very minor surgery (a spot taken off my shoulder) and I was wondering if there is any chance of overdosing with A. The C is very low. I have taken much more than that, but the A sounds high. What is the consensus of opinion here? Regards, Sharon (Ontario) Canada
Guest guest
I would like any additional info on this, too. My health insurance company recommends double that (25,000 iu twice a day) for menorrhagia. (excessive mentrual bleeding) That sounded kinda scary to me. -Robin > I was wondering if there is any chance of overdosing with A.
Guest guest
Hi Steve, Getting vaccines to some extent depends on where you live. Are you in the US? And I believe the current US practice is to give a hep b shot on the day of birth, a disease almost exclusively transmitted by sexual activity and IV drug use. > > Hi all - > I'm that guy who annoyed everyone a few weeks ago by questioning the > whole autism/vaccine connection. Guest guest
I would appreciate any up to date/research on children of opposite sex/ same sex, under 10yrs of age, sharing same bedroom or generally sharing. Is there something new about this aspect on research ? Student saying this is now considered potentially harmful. Of interest - Recently heard a news story from family friend about new baby, who was subsequently diagnosed with rare eye disease, having been referred to specialist whn Hv recorded concerns. Specialist impressed with HVs and their role with families. Well done hvs out there. Jeanete---
Guest guest
There is a powerful confounder, Jeanette: overcrowding per se and child development. Londoners may be familiar with the poor child health in the overcrowded, neglected Post-Blitz housing literally overshadowed by the North Circular. Guest guest
Hi JeanetteYour question is an interesting one, would be interesting to know if there is any research. I don't know of any specific data about room sharing or relevant age, but believe the housing regulations have something to say about the need for adults of different sexes needing separate sleeping space. In my mind, the age cut-off was 12 years, but I don't know if I have remembered that wrongly. I don't recall seeing anything about it in terms of child protection, although would not be surprised if someone has decided it should be an issue, probably at a younger age than previously, as it is in line with the general sexualisation of children, and of course earlier puberty. I worry about the assumption and expectation of sexuality in ever younger children, and the extent to which concerns are genuinely based on protecting children and how many are about a 'moral panic' based on a lack of understanding about normal curiosity and development. Pre-pubertal children usually find anything to do with sex hilarious and go off into fits of giggles about 'poo-willy-bum' at the least excuse! best wishesOn 3 Nov 2010, at 18:24, j.e.clifton@... wrote:Thanks Woody, having difficulty opening the file. ? also re: child protection issues. Guest guest
Thanks for the reflections on this. Working with teenage girls learning about childcare they have all kinds of assumptions and hear all kinds of comments. I am concerned about the objectification of young women and their role models! Young children sharing rooms is now of concern amongst some families which is worrying as childhood is going fast. regards Jeanette From: Caan, Woody <Woody.Caan@...>Subject: RE: Re: request for information Date: Wednesday, 3 November, 2010, 15:10 There is a powerful confounder, Jeanette: overcrowding per se and childdevelopment.
