Hi all,

I guess one of my deleted messages involved the loss of Geri from our group.

Would someone please give me an update as to why she left the group. I pray

it is not due to AIH.

God bless to all.

Hi Rick,

I hate to admit it, but I usually don't read all of the posts...in fact, since yours says Digest Number 1155 in the subject, I would normally skip right over it, but...today I didn't...<ggg> So, all that to say, I'm sure I missed a lot of the discussion...

From what I can gather, Geri took some discussion on the perils of smoking as personal attacks, since she is a rather militant smoker. I think she was very offended and felt the need to defend herself.

We've all seen how dealing with this damned illness can cause us to overreact, to lash out at those who care the most for us. I suspect that is what happened with Geri. Perhaps those who are still in contact with her can enlighten us a bit more.

Hi Rick,

I still have contact with Geri off-list, if you want to know what happened

you can e-mail me at thomas_sylvana@... I know why Geri left the

group, it was NOT just the smoking issue.

Dear Edith,

Thank you,

How does one find germanium?

Also, to re: Hyperbaric Oxygen

Jan,

This article caught my eye because I do use germanium.

The first time I used I was shocked at it's ability to stop pain NOW.

I buy the Germanium sesquioxide from NATR because the

owner had used it successfully for a bone infection.

Hi ;

I agree that food cooked with microwaves turns to plastic etc. Like some

doctor recently said on the radio, " Some people can tolerate a bit of

plastic in their diet " . He was referring to margarine though.

I break apart the useless magnetron (the microwave generator part) and pull

out the useful large magnets, then I throw it away. I only use the power

supply, timer and safeties.

The colloidal silver is made by the rest of the circuit through

electrolysis, not radio waves. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

Just my opinion, but I believe very strongly that ANYTHING put in a micro

wave oven comes out a carcinegen. I would never, ever take CS or anything

else that was made in this way. Food for thought........

Tammy,

I did see that you signed Mike's guestbook and very much appreciate

that. My disappointment does not have to do with walking with Mike as I

know that there are very few that can do this. I am in Texas as well

and cannot be there in person. But my frustration is that more

individuals have not signed his guestbook that he will carry to the

Senate. Last year we had over 8,000 signatures in a very short amount

of time. And this group was not likely aware of his walk last year. My

frustration is with all the other groups that supported him in the past.

I have no clue where they all are. If everyone will just take a moment

as you did and sign his guestbook with personal comments and then ask

others to do the same - we can accomplish getting the word to

Washington.

Thank you for helping and just know my frustration is with others in

different support groups and lists. I just send to one message to

everyone.

I understand your disappointment, but to say that some on this list

don't

care that is not right. I am lucky to have food on the table every

night, I

have no money to travel and to travel with Angel I would certainly need

more

hands and then there is no way for her to calm for anything after

traveling

all of the changes that brings. This walk would be out side I assume

well I

can't do that with either of my children and I can't take it either with

my

own health. I am sure their are others on this list in this boat. I

did go

to the web sight and put my 2 sense in. Also, I have not one on the

spectrum

but 2 for just me and my husband going on a trip like this would be

impossible. I wish I could for seeing Angel would definitely help I am

sure

but I can't and I know I am not the only one. If you live in washington

or

you can get there wonderful you can you take emails with our families

stories

and support those of us who can't make it.

Pat that would be extremely helpful. I managed to follow up some of

the telephone numbers given me last week, and have had some very

interesting conversations with 'health protection nurses' as some are

now calling themselves, who are affiliated with the health

protection agency (I am not sure of their actual employment

arrangements), but I am still interested in the more general public

health nurses. My fax number at the end of this message. best wishes

Hi Ron

There can be a lot more involved than just fills, Ron. A very good

aftercare system is very important,

that's why i chose North West Weight Loss Surgery In Kirkland. Twice a

month support group led by the staff, always a teaching/learning

experience. And only a short trip away in an emergency.

Dr. Kuri is very good, no doubt about it, but in an emergency he's just to

far away for my comfort level.

Only you and your wife can decide what is right for you.

I feel you are right about Aetna...they were more than willing to pay

several thousand dollars a year for my diabetes supplies, BP meds, meds

for hi cholesterol , meds for the neuropathy in my feet, and no qualms at

all about paying for many years of doc supervised dieting. But at the mere

mention of AGB they insisted on another 6 month stint of supervised

dieting. My dh said forget that so we did self pay....now 3 months past the

time they would have considered the banding, I'm only 20 pounds from goal.

Well worth the refinancing, Ron. It will be the BEST gift you have ever

given your wife and yourself!!!

C.
