Guest guest Posted November 21, 1998 Report Share Posted November 21, 1998 An eye specialist told me today that my Hep C is causing the cornea in my left eye to melt. It's very painful--red, swollen, sharp, stabbing pain, intolerance to light, etc. If ANY of you develop any of these symptoms in your eye(s), please don't shrug it off. I'm on drops, ointment, and steroids, and Monday go back again. The dr. told my daughter that it is a " very, very sick eye " .
