Guest guest Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 We got the news about how died from Helen, his friend, a few days ago. I've been thinking, and saving up, what I wanted to write since then. was taking ephedrine for weight loss. Ephedrine is now banned by the FDA. When he was found dead in his chair there was a bottle of it on the table next to him. He had probably just taken some. He died of a massive stroke caused by blood clots. This problem is a known symptom of ephedrine use. He told me number of times that he wanted to lose weight -- he felt bad about his potbelly. was actually skinny; his potbelly was a symptom of adrenal exhaustion, and the only place where he stuck out. Other than in his lower gut he was a craggy man. I tried to talk to about his diet when he came to visit me, right before his death -- I saw the condition of his body -- but he was completely unwilling to change the way he did things. was typical of millions of people who to try to lose weight instead of pushing to rehabilitate bodily functions. told me many times that he was lonely -- he wanted a partner. was massively switched in this regard. He simply was not able to cognate, to articulate what he wanted clearly enough, completely enough, and often enough, to evolve his wants to something of real value. I guess he felt his weight was in the way of attracting the right woman, not realizing that he simply hadn't brought himself to a level of preparation for her to show up. She's there all right -- I test that. And I'm sure they'll meet in another life. The thing that I'm left with, when I think about , is that we got immunics to him too late -- years too late. The evolution that he needed was happening for him, and would have happened in time to save his life if I had evolved more quickly, and brought immunics to an apparency level where he could find it five years before he did. is like a World War II casualty that happened the day before Germany surrendered. To me his death is just another reminder that the more I hesitate, the slower I go, the more unnecessary deaths happen. And that for every " , " there are tens of thousands of people who die unnecessarily each day from things that immunics cures, simply because they never heard of it. Your concerned colleague, The Buz I've attached some information about ephedrine that Greg sent me. -- -- -- Ephedrine, Ephedra Ephedra is now a banned substance, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, because of the high number of reported illnesses and injuries associated with the use of these dietary supplements.
