Here's the scoop on the Secret Santa-You will be making/buying a gift for someone on the list & sending it to them for Christmas/the Holidays. The gift is to be no more than $25 before shipping. You will receive a questionnaire to fill out so that the person sending you a gift can get/make you something you'd want. (Hopefully, we make no guarantees!!!) Sign up deadline is Sept. 1 at 5pm, questionnaires get sent to you Sept. 2, email them back to me by Sept. 9. On Sept. 10, I will email you with the person's name, address, and questionnaire answers that you are to send a gift to. Send it by Dec. 1, so that everyone will beat the holiday mailing rush. On or about Dec. 15 I will post a list of who had whose name. You can send your gift anonomously (I know that isn't spelled right), or you can tell the person who is sending them their gift. Then I'll send the answers to you when I receive them. The gifts should be sent out between 12/1 & 12/7. Sending them by priority mail would be best, if possible. First of all a really cool coffee mug with a celestial theme, I love it and I am and will be using it every day! Some flavored coffee and some coffee flavors. A very delish choco dipped pretzel - had to hide that one from the kids! I got some of her great smelling herbal soaps and a special treat, a book that I have been wanting to read! Thank you Katy! I wanted to throw this out there now to see how much interest there is. How many of you would be interested in participating in a Secret Santa on this list? Basically this is what will happen-I'll collect the names/email addys of everyone interested. I'll pair everyone up with a person to send a gift to. (The person you send a gift to will not be the person that sends you a gift.) I'll send everyone a questionnaire to find out your likes/dislikes. I'll send your answers to your Secret Santa. It will then be the responsibility of your Secret Santa to mail your gift to you by the deadline (to be determined). Once everyone has their gifts, we'll post a list as to who had whose name. The amount of the gift should be no more than $25 (before shipping costs). You can purchase items, make items, or a combo of both. If you don't know the person whose name you get, you'll be relying on the questionnaire for help. Hope that made sense to everyone! Anyone who has an interest can either post to the list or email me privately. We had alot of fun with this last year. Let's get more folks involved. Even if you are a lurker, please join in!
