It was nice even though the weather did not co-operate. LOL No shakes but

boy to come home and have to download over 200 messages! Still reading thru

them! Of course today is very nice and sunny, oh well. We had fun, even in

the rain!

Thanks Liz,

I'm glad that I have some time now to join in. I still can't order the

tapes. It would be nice to take advantage of Rashelle's specials, but

that's just life right now.

The good thing is that I am up to 12 minutes a day on my timer. My waist

is down about an inch! I've been doing this breath about 4 weeks now and

really loving it. Today was the first day that I did some positions

where I held a chair and lifted my leg to the back. I was really just

focusing on the breath first and making sure that my stomach muscles were

really pulled up properly.

Now I can do the breath and get into the position. The next phase will

be holding the position throughout the whole breath.

One thing I really like is that great tingly rush I get all over my body

- especially where I was contracting the muscles.

I've really become addicted!!!

Your question reminds me of a question I have about juicing. My blood is quite

alkaline;most recent BTA showed pH of blood at 7.97. I'm trying to understand

how an alkaline diet with juicing will

reduce the pH. Can someone explain that?It seems counterintuitive to me.

I'm juicing primarily beets, lemons, celery, parsley, carrots and dandelion greens.

I found some great recipes in a book at the library by the " juice lady " who

interestingly enough had CFS and is now

healed. After recovering she trained at Bastyr and became a nutritionist. The

book is not geared to CFS alkthough it's mentioned but has juce recipes for

different medical problems. I stay away

from the fruit ones.

Hi again, I see in my previous note I mentioned the wheezing that Noah had

beginning after his third round of vaccines, which contained his third dpth

and his first Hep B. What I neglected to mention was that also, he was 14

pounds at that appt he had at 7 months, he is now almost 20 months and has

gained almost 2 more pounds since. He basically stopped

eating/gaining/growing after that appt. Of course no doc here will admit it

was the vaccines although they have no idea what the problem is, I let them

do a sedated echo on Noah, along w/a ct scan, and a pulmonary function test,

but had to draw the line when those turned up nothing, and then they wanted

to schedule a barrium swallow. The problem is he has been poisoned, and now

no one wants to admit it. Ugh.

Lynne,

hi and welcome to the list. i was in a similar situation as you are--i have an older boy and was always uncomfortable with giving vaxes, but really had no idea why i was bothered by them, when i had my 2nd boy, i did do the first round of vaxes at 2 months, but then started to investigate them in-depth and now a year later, i can confidently say that i will NEVER vax any of my children with anything EVER again. it took me the past year of reading and researching every single day--with almost never a day that i don't read something pertaining to vaccines or other health-related issues. it is a hard idea to get comfortable with int he beginning, but the more you learn and the more knowledgeable you become, the more comfortable you get with keeping your child vax-free without living in fear of these diseases.

good luck, try to read a lot here and ask questions--there are lots of knowledgeable people on this list. and again, welcome!

Hi !

Well you came to the right place for a support group

and especially for information. I look forward to

getting to know you better. We seem to have alot in

common. I'm 24 also, have a 3 year old, a 1 year old

and another due in July! There's nothing in the world

anyone could have told me when I was younger, that

would have described the joy of being a mother. My

husband and my children's presence just make

everything okay sometimes, you know? You are making a

wise decision not to vaccinate!

two moths ago. I

have two other children who I vaccinated (I had no

really

concerned now with all the things I hear about

vaccinating and I do

NOT want to vaccinate my son . I am a gentle and

kind AP

mother. I am FAR from what we all call mainstream, I

have a thirst

for knowledge on parenting issues and what is best for

my children,

even if that means all the critism from everyone !!!

My children are my life. I do have a problem though...

I do not have

medical coverage and so have to use a clinic when I

need to bring

to the doctors, and I dont know what my rights

are and whether

or not they can call social services if I refuse

vaccines ??? i live

na, my two girls aged 3 and 1 have just had chicken pox it brings

little discomfort/pain, is a very mild disease and helps build lifelong

immunity - a vaccination against seems unnecessary and is not yet done in

this country (UK). Since recovering from it they are both stronger,

brighter than before and with really healthy appetites.

Hi

Hi, My name is na and I just joined the group. I

have a 8 month old child and am current on his

vaccinations, but have heard a lot of negative things

about vaccinations and they way they are combined, so

I thought I would check into it. I haven't yet decided

to stop vaccinating my son, but I want to be more

informed next time he goes in to get his shots, which

is in a month or so. I have two questions about

information I have heard. First I have heard that is

bad for a child to get a combination of three or four

different shots all at the same time. And second I

want to know more about the Chicken Pox vaccination as

it is so new. Thank you for letting me join the group. na.

Please go to my website and read very carefully all that you can before you

allow anymroe vaccines.

Combos seem to be particularly bad but children have died, developed

autism, had serious reactions after any of the single vaccines also.

What you need to know is how the immune system works. It is complex but

starts to " kick in " at about age 18 months. Prior to this, the immune

system is weak and cannot 'fight' an onslaught. This means that if you

introduce viruses or bacterium in great numbers, the immune system is sure

to fail. It cannot 'set up' a response because it is too young. By the age

of 2 years, exposure to those illness (childhood illnesses) set up a natural

immune response. Perfect. As it was meant to be. Our behaviour has

altered, our children are exposed at younger ages for numerous reasons.

Mothers work. Fathers work. Career paths. Child minding centres entice

parents to seek respite. etc etc. And along comes the vaccines. Someone

on this list summed it up perfectly some time ago. Once it was the five

f's. Filth, Fluid, Food, Fomite and Faeces. Our environment. No longer

though, now it is the five V's. Triple antigen, Hep B, MMR, Sabin, Flu Vax.

Govn'mnt bodies love it. Drs thrive on it. The drug companies profit from

it. Our children die from it. Read the literature. Research, research,

research. From a Health Department memo in the office - " MMR to be offered

to all those born after 1970. It is likely that those born before 1970 have

acquired immunity " . So therein lies the truth. Those mothers breast

feeding who thought that they " passed on " antibodies for " immunity " are

wrong. They have the best intentions but the damage is done. So lets

experiment and have fun. We can include several viruses and " lets see what

happens " . Then we can suspend these in preservatives - Toxic Substances -

and " lets see what happens " . Do a search on " Mad Hatters " . Here you might

find part of the jigsaw that will lead you to the bigger picture. Good

Luck.

Diane,

visit www.thinktwice.com.

Also purchase the book Vaccines: Are They Really Safe & Effective ISBN

1-881217-10-8 $8.95

After that follow the links to the numerous sites that are vaccine related.

Then make your

decision. I too had my child vaccinated at 2 months - out of fear! That was

the last time my

child saw a needle.

My concern after my research was how to defend my decision not to vaccinate. A

very good friend,

a physician who has never vaccinated any of his 5 children, gave me a great

idea. When anyone

questions my decision I offer to lend them my piles of research (organized into

binders) and then

request that they tell me what their decision would be given all the

information. It usually is a

very effective and polite way to deal with folks!

Please em me privately if you need any more encouragement!

Dana
