Hi Everyone: Thought I'd let you know that I received great news with my

first post op appt. last week. Everything looks good, rods, screws,

cages, etc. are in place. Pain meds are always being reduced with no

problem. I am to continue with my daily exercises and walking. I can

increase walking as tolerated. I am walking a total (2 walks combined)

of over a mile a day now! One of my challenges is that my knees still

want to bend when I stand up, but the excercises to strenghten the

hamstrings will take care of that in time. It still feels fantastic to

be able to stand upright with no effort!

I hope this gives hope to all of you who are in the pre revision stage.

I know how difficult a decision this is!
