I wasn't sure if anyone knew how she was doing, so figured i would make an account and join the site. My mom had the first stage of her revision surgery on Friday, 13, 2006. She was doing great and really talkative that night, then I went to see her Saturday, 14th, and she was in a descent amount of pain. The nurses were extremely nice and said that she had an ok night but she was uncomfortable because the meds from the operation were wearing off. I returned home (PA) last night. If was really nice to see my mom but very emotional. Today my aunt went into visit her and she said she's in TONS of pain and is being a very difficult patient. My mom told my aunt that last night when she wanted to move onto her side, she pushed the nurse button, and nobody came for a while so she screamed! I can only imagine the type of patient she is!
