Guest guest
Hi, Everyone, I'm new to this group; and am grateful to be a part of it. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 11, and have had to have X- rays (like a lot of you) to monitor its progress. I chatted with a person yesterday (who does not have scoliosis) who said that I should have never had an xray, especially of your spine/hip; because they mutate your genes; she wasn't a doctor, but doctors have been pretty vague about xray dangers, and I didn't think of them when I was a kid, and also because I've never been pregnant. I felt pretty bad about this, especially because my husband and I would like to start a family in the next few years. I was wondering if anybody has felt/addressed this concern. Thank you very much, Angelina
