Guest guest
Read the book by Simeons - he is very detailed. He wrote this in the 1950's. You can find the book online lots of places, just type in "Pounds and Inches" or "HCG diet protocol" or http://www.pounds-and-inches.com/. There is so much info out there!! The key and I cannot stress this enough is that you need to stay on injections/dose while you are enjoying your food (with a definite emphasis on fat)If you're not on hCG - and starting Phase 3 when you 'eat normally- and I'm not sure what normal means for you; then yes, I believe you can gain a lot in a very short time. I read a post from a woman on an hCG board who did what I think you're planning to do after she started Phase 3 and put on 9 pounds in no time. I may be misunderstanding what you're planning to do. My understanding is that Phase 3 is where a lot of folks fall down in the protocol and then don't stabilize their new weight. I recently finished my drops ; on 3 days no drops VLCD to release the hCG from my system and then planning on pure Phase 3 on. I planned it so I can enjoy Turkey on Thanksgiving. But I'm having no sweet potatoes etc. as they're not on Phase 3. I do not recommend 'eating normally' while you're stabilitizng your new weight (Phase 3). I don't know the ramifications of starting up on hCG on those days and just calling them load days if you've been off it for a week. Maybe that wouldn't matter really. but bottom line- if I understand you correctly, I wouldn't recommend what you have in mind. Again, Phase 3 from what I read is where people think they have more give when in fact they really don't.Good luck and keep researching this for yourself so you don't undo all your hard work. The good news is once you begin hCG again, the extra weight does come off very quickly so in that respect the hCG program can be very forgiving and as long as you get back on the horse you'll probably be ok. But you might want to ask yourself is it really worth it.Fawn>> I am taking a break for Thanksgiving/ my son's birthday party. My last dose was Friday night, so last night I ate "normally". Has anyone done a planned break? If so, did you gain weight and did it come off easily after starting HCG and VLCD again? Just nervous, don;t want to undo everything for four days of being normal.> > Thanks!>
