When everything here is running correctly (i.e. without trolls) we all

I just wanted to add something to my previous statement.

If you are already feeling warm about this site, consider that this

is how Aspies relate to one another when their lives are

unobstructed by conflict.

While Aspies and non-Aspies are different enough that a really deep

and healthy friendship is unlikely, it is possible and can happen if

there was understanding on the non-AS side. Aspies DO try to

understand non-AS people, and lots of time we succeed. But we do not

see much effort on the non-AS part, and so AS/non-AS friendships

tend not to gel as much as we would hope.

Unfortunatly I do not have internet at home right now.... I have

been out of work for 2 years... kinda puts a crimp in the budget if

ya know what i mean. However, I have brought him to work and let

him look around in here and he likes what he has seen so far....

Ideally I would like to be able to get internet back and let him

join some groups... and go from there.... thanks for the input.

I've set up a section for building pictures. Just one there now, one of the barn and windmill at the old home place. Over the next few days, more will be posted, mostly from Buena Vista, but also from other places that I have been, like Mobile, AL, and ton, SC.

My name is and I am sorry that I have not introduced myself

before now but this computer stuff is all very new to me!

I was diagnosed with CFS 5 years ago, after years of being unwell, and

have steadily become more unwell since.

Last July I discovered Dr P and he has been trying to help me ever

since. I have problems with candida, adrenals and thyroid.

After seeing Dr P my husband and myself were so excited at the prospect

of starting to feel better because we don't have any sort of life at

the moment.

There has not been any change at all yet and I am currently taking

Cortef (which seems to have messed up my emotions big time) and Cytomel

for the last couple of weeks. I also took Fluconazole for 4 weeks and a

strict diet for 4 months but my candida is much worse.

DR P has offered me the best hope for a long time but I didn't realise

how complicated it all is and now I feel very low thinking I will never

get better.

Thanks for all the information you are providing and the opportunity to

share my thoughts and feelings with people who (hopefully) understand

where I am coming from.

Hopefully I will be back soon with something more positive but if

anyone feels like giving me a 'pep talk' to be going on with it would

be much appreciated right now.
