Guest guest
Hi Kim, My doctor, Dr. JA Corvala is hosting a seminar on Sat. Oct 22 at the Portland Airport Fairfield Inn if you would like information on the lap band. You can email me for more information, because I think you have to call his office and register for the seminar before you go. I had surgery with him and had a great experience, and am almost at goal weight. His staff took very good care of me. There are a lot of us in Oregon and Washington who have been banded by Dr. . > I wanted to attend a support group but didn't pay attention and missed > the monday nite mtg. at evergreen...is there anywhere else I might > meet people who have already had the surgery before the 4th monday of > October?...as a non-banded " seeker " ... > > thanks > > Kim

Guest guest
Kim, There are going to be many bandsters at Dr. 's seminar on the 22 of October. A bunch of us from all over the state of Oregon are coming and bringing friends. I know the mid day seminar is full but I think the other two still have space. Call Anita(in Oregon). Her number is 877-336-4137. She can sign you up for a time. I will be there and I look forward to meeting you. Guest guest
Hi Dolly, I went to Dr. as well to get information, just couldn't afford her. Dr. trained her in Portland years ago for Inamed. I have a copy of the letter his office sent me to prove it. I am going to the mid day seminar and I know it is booked up, but there are two more. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Anita lives in Portland. Her number is 877-336-4137. I don't have her local number because I am in Eugene and call toll free. I may stay and speak at the afternoon seminar. I am newer to banding but am losing weight quickly and really believe it was the best option for me. I feel healthier than ever. I trusted Anita because she is a teacher as well as working for Dr. and so I am a teacher in Eugene. We had a lot in common. Let me know if I can help you as well. Guest guest
Hello, I was a patient and I am gong to the seminar. I have lost alomst 80 pounds in a short amount of time. It is so easy to just eat less, have energy and do more. I even play more with my girls now. I am in Bend and would do it all again. I see the coordinator I used from time to time and we have become friends. She really helped my wife here when I went down to Tijuana alone for surgery since we have three young girls. Dr. took good care of me. His entire staff was supportive and still contacts me for follow up and there computer log in program in very nice. I recommend him to anyone considering surgery. Going blindly down to Mexico was a bit scary but now peopl can meet him, his team and some of his patients. Whay not go to a seminar? Feel free to contact me. i am a big band supporter now. Guest guest
Hi Brad, You are doing great with your weight loss. I haven't talked with you for awhile. I am also planning on going to the seminar, and bringing a friend although my new grandbaby is due right around the same time! If I don't make it, please tell Dr. and Anita that I said hello & that I am almost at goal weight-within 5 pounds. By the way, when I registered for the seminar, I was told that if I bring people with me who are interested in the lap band, there are some door prizes. I always seem to win things. So either way, I win-a new grand baby or a door prize... LOL! > Hello, > > I was a patient and I am gong to the seminar. I have lost alomst 80 pounds in a short amount of time.
