Guest guest
> > In one of my " old Time " med books (anywhere from 30-40 yrs ago) I distinctly remember reading of a doc who did " paint " the cervix with iodine Could it have been Dr. D.C. Jarvis of Vermont Folk Medicine? (a book in the 60s). He seems to have also promoted the interaction of Lugol's with apple cider vinegar, in feed for animals as well as for humans. Our Lynn from this site knows a good bit about his research. BTW: The Lugols with coconut oil was perfectly comfortable, not at all irritating like the douche was. After reading the following though, I am thinking that my earlier post of using kombucha mushrooms wasn't too far off. Think I'll try adding a bit of kombucha vinegar (similar in properties to apple cider vinegar?) to the iodine/coconut oil mix. I've already lost one ovary and 3/4 of my thyroid to cysts. I have 2 cysts in my remaining ovary, and my older sister is battling breast cancer. I'm hoping to be proactive and blast anything growing with iodine both orally and vaginally - a one/two punch. I'm wondering about the magnesium that suggested as a followup. , Dr. Marcus - could the magnesium oil you talk about be combined with the Lugols/vinegar/coconut oil for vaginal instillation? http://www.belties.com.au/Articles/Article%20A%20Value%20In% 20Vinegar%20-%20JandrewBeltedGallowayStud%202007.pdf http://www.amazon.com/Folk-Medicine-D-C-Md-Jarvis/dp/0345471741 http://iodine4health.com/overviews/clinicians/jarvis_clinician.htm

Our Lynn from this site knows a good bit about his research. That is definitly one possibility, as I read his book long ago. But I 'know' this was from some other doc, probably long gone now. If I get a sudden 'flash', I'll post it Glad to hear the " invention " was comfortable! Why not just do this combo for a little while before adding in other ingredients? We know the 'painted iodine' works, but not whether some other ingredient might nullify it..........not to mention dilute the iodine. Whatever author/Dr whose name I can't recall, did talk about a direct 'connection' (some biochemic pathway through the system) directly from the cervix through the uterus into the ovaries and breasts by way of the iodine.
