Guest guest
Yes, I was unfilled first. I had 2 cc at that time in my " 4 " cc Inamed band. Your stoma may be open enough to allow the smaller pediatric-sized endoscopy tube through it without an unfill - but it may not. that may also be why your band surgeon is going to be there, to unfill you if needed. He should be prepared to do so, and bring the Huber needles and other stuff needed. The procedure itself is easy - you'll be very zonked out on a short- acting anesthesia and will not remember a thing - so discuss all this with your doc before the procedure. I'm a little curious though - usually, when you have problems indicating an endoscopy might be useful, you are already un filled as a first attempt to solve the problems! What's going on? What's going on? Sandy R I went for a check up after having a fill 2 weeks ago and being filled to 3 cc's. I told him I don't really feel any different since the last fill and I told him I was able to eat a whole tomato > sandwich in about 15 min. He said I shouldn't be able to do that. He said it would be as a precaution just to make sure there was no erosion and that if everything was OK, then I would get another fill. I will let you know what happens tomorrow if I'm not too zonked out when I return home. Please say a prayer that everything is OK. Thanks. Guest guest
Then I wouldn't worry. The band doc will be there too, so what else could you want? If an unfill is needed, which isn't likely, then he can do it on the spot.
