Guest guest
I'm trying to take the advice of successful PNW bandsters. Combined, that advice adds up to approximately: Stop expecting the pre-fill time to be big weight loss time. Weight loss may or may not happen, but it's primarily a healing time. That's your goal during that period. Let your body heal from surgery. And don't beat yourself up if you've gained weight during that period. Don't even beat yourself up if you've gained or stagnated after your first fill - if the fill doesn't give you enough restriction, the best you can do during that period is make healthy food choices. When you get a proper fill and it gives you satiety after the recommended volume of food, then start looking in earnest for the weight loss if you're making healthy food choices, drinking enough water, getting exercise, etc.. You wouldn't beat yourself up if you had a brand new calculator that didn't have batteries, and so you couldn't do your calculations. You've got your new tool, but without the right fill, it doesn't have " batteries " yet. a // Gained 3 pounds over this week..thank God I'm scheduled for my first fill on Friday!//

Guest guest
I'm back down to 266 for 2 days in a row so I guess those 3 pounds were due to that time of the month + eating like a hog. I've curbed eating everything in sight since Monday weigh in and get my first fill tomorrow..yea;-) I know weight loss doesn't start until a good fill but I can't easily give up any weight loss as it came at such a high price;-D Kem in Eugene 286/266/150 Dr. Neal 8.6.04 <º)))>< << Date: Wed, 22 Sep 2004 08:39:37 EDT From: Kerrie97@...
