Certainly the being inside out of the cold and dark is part of it. But the other part is don't have that crap in your house. If you abolish chips, candy, or whatever else calls your name from your house, then they won't be there to eat. And since it is cold and dark you're not likely to get back out of the house to go get them. Or at least the chances of you doing so are reduced. A> I hate this! Understand, as I've been struggling too. What helps me is going to the gym in the evening. If I'm at the gym lifting weights or on the treadmill, I'm not eating. One might be doing stuff with your hands. Knitting, crocheting, etc, are things that keep your hands busy, and also keep your hands clean. You wouldn't want to get chocolate mess on that baby blanket you're making, would you? I'm sure others will have other ideas too. Guest guest
, Find a hobby. Start knitting or scrapbooking or reading or anything that keeps your mind and hands busy. My new vice is computer card and board games. It keeps me busy and free from snacking. Charlie
Guest guest
, I think we want to hibernate in the winter and eat! I have started crocheting scarves in the evenings. They go really quick and they are easy. If you don't know how to crochet, I'll bet someone you know does, and they can show you. If not, there are " how to " books at s or Wal-mart. You can make a simple scarf in a couple of evenings, and they're really popular right now. NANCY 8/14/04 -36 DR.
