Guest guest
Beets are excellent and safe for pregnancy. They are very detoxifying to the liver. Juicing is probably the most effective way to get quantity in. ----- Original Message ----- From: (LaRoche) Rupert<mailto:nalc105@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2006 1:09 PM Subject: Re: Beet juice tablets > > Traci, > > Beet root capsules are another thing I take daily. Guest guest
Why not juice the beets with a little carrots or green pepper or cucumbers? Beet juice tastes great, and perhaps much better for you than the tablets. -----Original Message----- From: tracic@... gallstones Sent: Sun, 29 Oct 2006 9:12 AM Subject: Beet juice tablets Does anyone know if beet juice tablets help? Guest guest
Oh you guys are making me desire a juicer so bad, I really wish I could afford one. It's just not even possible at the moment. Guest guest
Hi everyone I'm a newbie to the group. Regretfully, I had my gall bladder removed last year but still suffer with some digestive problems. I have read Moritz's book on gall bladder flushes and I am preparing for my first flush in 2 weeks. His book contains many external indicators for those with liver congestion / stones that I exhibit . Has anyone had any experience with Digest RC. I've included a summary of the product available from www.lef.org. The product is not recommended for those with there gall bladder removed but I am not sure why as it only stimulates bile flow. Flushes greatly stimulate bile flow yet I am not aware of similar cautions for those without gall bladders. Any feedback/experience would be appreciated. Thanks Ted Digest RC™ 30 tablets Item Catalog Number: 458 Digest RCTM is a multiple herbal extract formulation, which was introduced in Europe over 46 years ago, and today sells more than 100 million doses annually. The primary mechanism of action promotes the release of bile from the liver to digest fat and protein. The various ingredients within Digest RCTM are delivered to the parts of the digestive system where they will be most effective by means of a “layered†delivery system (i.e., multiple timed-release). In this manner, Digest RCTM optimizes the operation of its ingredients to aid all digestive problems while other products usually only attack one at a time. Digest RCTM is particularly beneficial for those who have not responded to food elimination therapy and those with the digestive problems typical to aging.1-43 The ingredients in Digest RCTM have been able to: Aid in the normal digestion of fats and proteins1,3,5,6,13,18,20,21 Prevent the stagnation of food in the intestines38,39 Reduce the digestion-related side effects of some prescription medications22-27 Create an inhospitable environment for harmful bacteria36,37,42 References Supplement Facts Serving Size 1 tablet Servings Per Container 30 Amount Per Serving Black radish extract75 mg Linden bark charcoal 75 mg Artichoke extract 47 mg Calicum phosphate 45 mg Cholic acid 40 mg Peppermint15 mg Other ingredients: beet sugar, talcum, vegetable starch, magnesium stearate, arabic gum, gelatin, silicon dioxide. Dosage and Use One to two capsules daily are suggested. This product is best utilized when taken with meals. Caution The black radish and artichoke extracts used in this product have bile stimulation effects. Therefore, while Digest RC is completely safe to be taken with any medication, it is not known how it might affect those who have had their gall bladder removed, therefore such people are advised to avoid it. -------------- Original message -------------- From: Msewarner@...
