Guest guest
Hi In 2003 I started having a lot of discomfort after eating. Pain, indigestion, diareah. About 8/2003. It was so bad I finally made appt to see my doctor, an O.D. I should mention that I have always had irregular periods. I sometimes will only have a cycle 1 or 2x a year. I saw my doc in Sept. 03. I have a HMO so after he referred me for a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound I didn't get an appt till Oct. The first thing that was approved was the abdominal ultrasound. On the way to work after the abdominal ultrasound I felt a " flutter " . I knew immediately (like only a mother can know) I was not " sick " I was pregnant. I bought an at home test and did it in the bathroom at work. So now I know I'm pregnant. I call my O.D.'s office and tell them. The nurse/receptionist sounds a little nervous and asks me to come in today. I can't so they see me on Monday. It was Thursday. The reason I think they are nervous is because they know my doc had done a pelvic on me back in Sept., and he did not catch that I was pregnant. I am a big person (fat) so I did not know I was pregnant either. This would not have been unusual but I had my daughter by c- section 01/29/04 full term. Fast forward to fall last year 2005. I go in to see my doc for a bad cold. He talks to me about my symptoms and while flipping through my chart casually asks me what are " we " going to do about your gall stones. I am in shock and ask him what he is talking about. He says my abdominal ultrasound showed numerous and large gallstones. I have always seemed to have some sort of stomach or indisgestion problem, I have mostly just suffered through it and chalked it up to bad diet. The worst I ever felt was right before I saw him in Sept. 2003. So he explains the symptoms I should be having that indicate the gallstones are causing me problems and I should have surgery. So now I have joined this site. I am starting to have pain again. I am having trouble sleeping. I have indigestion. Pain in my back below my rib cage. I have diareah. That is the most troubling, sometimes within minutes after eating a meal I have to rush to the bathroom. I was just searching the net and found a site about a gall bladder cleanse. I really do not want surgery. I don't really trust any doctors. So I hope this site can offer some safe alternatives to surgery. Guest guest
, I experienced similar issues with the diarrhea, and even do so today. It could be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I have the runs quite often especially right after eating. When extremely stressed, I would become completely nauseated, almost to the point of vomiting in a matter of seconds. Then I would get the sweats and severe abdominal pain and have to immediately go to the bathroom (and i mean immediately). The absence of periods should be checked out, could be your weight, but also could be PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). I have several friends with this syndrome and that is something they all say.. their periods are irregular, if present at all. With regard to your pain, from what I have read, if you are going to do a gallbladder cleanse, like Dr. 's, it is best to first do a bowel cleanse. I would do some research on galbladder and liver cleansing. Gallstones, from my understanding, do not have to be removed via surgery. That should be a last resort alternative... and it does not always provide relief. When I did the Dr Natura Colon cleanse about a month and a half ago, the formula helped to relieve the diarrhea or runs. I guess the Colonix (psyllium formula) helped to bulk up the stool. Also, I would take a hard look at what is being put into your mouth. A lot of our problems revolve around our diets.. I'm working on that aspect right now. ----- Original Message ----- From: gallstones Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 1:13 PM Subject: Just Joined Today-This is my story Hi In 2003 I started having a lot of discomfort after eating.
