We live in a magic pill world and unless we take care of our bodies for the long term, the pill (or in this case the knife) can seem like a viable option. Guest guest
Shefy, I have battled systemic Candida for 25 years using strict diet and the usual supplements for chelating it. I just started a new product 2 weeks ago called Yeast Away (http://peakhealthcareproducts.com/) that I think may actually get rid of the candida for good this time. It works by destroying the cell wall of the yeast in a way that does not create the usual die-off symptoms. If you also do their 6 month follow up product to kill the spores those smart little devils finally forget where they had been living all those years. I intuitively feel that it was my candida that, in the past, has diminished the results of other cleanses I have tried, like the GB flush. Guest guest
For all you dealing with candida, this should not be a long term issue. If it is a bowel infestation 2-4 weeks. If it has morphed, punctured the intestinal wall and become systemic, 3-6 months. There is life after candida as well as life with. Kill the puppies off, re establish the proper environment and reintroduce the proper flora and fauna. While probiotics will be helpful with a yeast infection, they will not be curative. It is all about competition for food. Most things that are fatal to the yeast are not so good for the friendly bugs (antibiotics for example). Therefore, clean house, and then re establish the proper colonization. The biggest gun , but will not completely get rid of the candida, is the medium chain triglyceride fatty acids such as caprylic or undelic (both being extracted from that wonderful fat, coconut oil). The herbal combination is amur cork tree bark, white oak bark, and the most anti yeast herb, celandine leaf. In rare cases the little buggers have adapted to the point that you need to bring in an obscure herb from New Zealand called Horopito (psuedowinteria colorata). The New Zealand Government has licensed only one company (monopoly?), the product is called Kolorex. Once you have knocked it to it's knees, FOS, and probiotics... but not until then. As Steve points out dietary changes are then essential. Anybody who is purporting a long term maintenance program is living the good life at your expense. In terms of listening to your doctor about the results of your ultrasound, listen to the report, and not the recommendations. Caveat Emptor. While well intentioned, maybe not so educated. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Moeck<mailto:dmoeck@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, October 15, 2006 9:36 AM Subject: Re: Re: Is it time to remove my gallbladder? Guest guest
Dave, On the topic of candida: 25 years of doing what you recommend only allowed my candida to get worse. It did NOT go away in 3 to 6 months. I believe many people suffer all kinds of physical problems from long-established systemic yeast that they don't even know they have because they have followed the usual diet and anti-fungal recommendations for killing yeast and they think that took care of it. The YeastAway program is obviously much different from what you are used to. They recommend that you do NOT follow any special diet and do NOT take any kind of anti-fungals at all. Just take their product and go about your normal life, free of any die-off symptoms, while it is doing it's work. It is not necessarily a long-term maintenance program. For the kind of infestation you seem to be thinking of it can be fully defeated in as little as 12 days. In my case, because there is so much with such a deep foothold, it is expected to take about 9 months. I suppose you are imagining that I am the biggest most gullible sucker you have seen in awhile. No, I just know how to do my own research. If you, or anyone else here, wants to understand what makes this program so different I suggest talking to Randy of Peak Health Care Products at: 1-866-442-0617. Guest guest
Hi Vince, Yes, the dentists put a massive amount of mercury in my body. I had well over 200 mercury fillings, throughout my life, mixed up raw 3 feet from my head and slopped into my teeth and down my throat. The dentist who did most of that retired early and died young. I finally just had all my teeth pulled, but no doubt that has a lot to do with my stubborn candida. Yes, check EVERY option out there. With this program, just don't try to mix other protocols with it. To clarify what I wrote in the last post, they recommend staying away from anti-fungals WHEN ON THEIR PROGRAM. Anti-fungals may serve you well, as long as you don't mix them with YeastAway. At 07:43 PM 10/20/2006, you wrote: >Hi , How about mercury? Do you have amalgam fillings? Guest guest
Hi , Your original message has not come through my computer yet so I am responding through this one. I definitely do not think you are gullible. My comments are based with dealing with literally hundreds of people on this issue over the past decade plus. Some of who have been dealing with this for a very long time under the care of professionals. While many substances are anti yeast, none that I have run across are a one shot silver bullet. So while making the situation better, people still get to manage their yeast problem for ever. I hope cellulase turns out to be different. Cellulase breaks down cellulose, the polysaccharide that makes up the cell walls of plants. Cows have it we don't. I hope it proves to break down the cell wall of candida sufficiently. If the candida has gone systemic, it will be necessary to assimilate into the bloodstream and disseminate to the farthest reaches of the body that the candida has gotten too. Hence, them having you take it in between meals. May it work well. I will test it out and hopefully it will be helpful. Now if we look at cost , this particular product seems a bit excessive. A dollar per cap is awfully high for the market on cellulase. While they put probiotics in along with, I still maintain that it will be more proficient to beat the candida to death first and then reintroduce the proper flora and fauna along with FOS (that is what the inulin is for) afterwards. While I too do not recommend any special diet, dietary changes for most people who have rampant candida would be well advised. Those with a sweet tooth, and I am not supposing you do, are going to end up with problems again as soon as the balance has been wacked out for one reason or another. It is a matter of community and environment. Vince's comment below would also be well taken. The suppressive effects of mercury on the immune system will leave anyone a couple of rocks shy of a full bucket in terms of their own defenses. Only here to help, -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: VR<mailto:new_man85@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Friday, October 20, 2006 6:43 PM Subject: Re: Is it time to remove my gallbladder? Hi , How about mercury? Do you have amalgam fillings? Mercury in your system will thwart any attempt to get rid of candidis after it is well established. I'd also suggest looking at many more sources of info than just one who is selling you their product Just my opinion... Guest guest
Have you tried the LL clay baths for mercury detox?? There are several types of LL baths. I tried them because i was in excruciating pain. They helped me quite a bit. Perhaps you would want to research that as well. I also added bentonite clay to my diet. The product I use is Great Plains Bentonite detox. I truly believe it helped me to quickly relieve the pain I was in. ----- Original Message ----- From: VR gallstones Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2006 10:21 AM Subject: Re: Is it time to remove my gallbladder? Hi , I have had 12 amalgams removed by a knowledgeble dentist and replaced with composite fillings. I am going to Tijuana in a couple of weeks to get my two root canals extracted and my non-biocompatible crown replaced with a good one. My flushes and diet changes have greatly helped me recover from the mercury toxicity. I'm looking to go the rest of the way to better long term health with the remaining dental work. Then, I will be able to start the oral chelation to detox the remaining metals. Meanwhile, I'm taking herbs and minerals to strengthen my adrenals and elimination paths. I appreciate your input to the list. I hope this works well for you and that you'll keep us posted on your progress. I'm glad to hear you had your teeth pulled (not that I want anyone to be without their own teeth , because when they are full of mercury most other options are not as good as pulling them. Most other options are definietly more expensive. Have you looked into making your own kefir and/or Kombucha tea? Good cheap probiotics, enzymes, minerals, detox, etc for much less than any equivalent commercially available supplements. Google kefir. One of the best sites is here: http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html Google kombucha. Two of the best sites are here: faq: http://www.kombuchatea.co.uk/kombucha-faq.asp kombucha tea/ Lots of info on these two naturally fermented drinks that provide a powerful amount of detox and balencing for pennies a gallon. I'm all for finding traditionally nourishing foods that don't cost an arm and a leg, although I'm not opposed to spending the money to invest in my health. Come to think of it, I've invested thousands of dollars in all kinds of things to help me, but I'm always looking for cheaper ways to do the same or more Vince > > > > > > Dave, > > > > > > On the topic of candida: > > > 25 years of doing what you recommend only allowed my candida to get > >worse. > > > It did NOT go away in 3 to 6 months.
