Guest guest Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 http://www.altsupportthyroid.org/t3/t3medrefs2.php if you have this type of thyroid disease--where you don't convert t4 into t3--either from an illness---pituitary disease (hypopit) or you don't get enough selenieum/copper/zinc--- so there are Other thyroid diseases out there where you can make all the t4 and it won't convert into t3 and t3 is the active form of thyroid hormone that we all must have--- So your doctor needs to be informed of this type of thyroid disease and this type is usually with those that have CFS---Adrenal fatigue type combo with thyroid---or have suffered a illness. which is the name of this type---euthyroid sick syndrome---fyi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
