Thanks, Gail. Now, at least, we know how we are supposed to take Rejuvedine, even if we still don't quite know what it is. I am certainly not surprised you are cross-eyed! Since I highly doubt that any of us will be able to remember all these instructions, I've put a link to your email under Rejuvedine for the future generations that will be asking how to use it.

Rejuvedine what it is and dosing

Okay I just received my little bottle of Rejuvedine, and just to let everyone know it is "Detoxified Iodine" from "Organic Asian Kelp".

There is a very long list of how to take the stuff and very confusing as follows (please forgive me if there are any misspellings, I was cross eyed by the time I finished typing ;-)):

Three drops in the morning and night, always on an empty stomach. Increasing one drop each day until un the sixth day there is taken eight drop twice daily.

One drop twice a day, increasing one drop daily until eight drops twice daily are being taken.

One drop morning and night for five days. Then, two drops morning and night for five days. Then three drops twice daily in the same manner for five days. Rest for five days and then repeat.

Ten drops twice daily for one for two days before the Epsom salts bath. Then sweat it out through the system, see?

One drop first thing in the morning. Then two drops the second day and three the third. Rest for three days and repeat the cycle three times.

Three to five drops at a time, but fifteen to twenty drops in a thirty-six hour period before the Epsom salts bath. Then sweat it out...

One drop twice daily, increasing one drop daily until eight drops are taken twice daily. Leave off for a week and then repeat.

One drop for seven days, then three drops for three day, and on the fifth day take ten drops. Then the Epsom salts bath and massage.

One drop for three days, then three drops for three days. Rest one day then take the bath and the rubdown.

Two drops three times a day for five days. Then the bath and massage.

One drop daily for three days, increasing one drop every three days until six drops are taken for three days.

One drop the first day. Three drops the second day. Five the third. Seven drops the fourth day. Nine the fifth. Then the bath and massage. Rest two days, then take the iodine on the five day cycle starting with one drop and increasing one drop daily. Then again the bath and massage.

Two drops twice a day for two days. Then the bath and massage.

One drop for two days. Then increasing one drop every second day until five drops are taken for two days. Then the bath and massage. Rest three days. Increase one drop every three days until eight drops are taken. Then the bath and massage.

Two drops for seventeen days. Then the bath and massage while in the tub. Rest five days then repeat the cycle. Rest six weeks then start all over again.

One drop for thirty to sixty days.

Truly Zoe, I don't see me following those instructions. Quite a long list, I almost expected to see that it had to be coordinated with the phases of the moon. I see nothing as to what % iodine to alcohol on the bottle or the information that came with it. It's called atomic iodine because it's electrically charged. They claim that makes it magnetized and makes the molecules small enough to be more bioavailable.

I think I need to ask Phil a couple more questions, at least to find out what the ratio of iodine to alcohol is. Then if I decide to take it, I probably won't follow those directions. I just don't think I would remember what day is what and when etc ;-)

I am suspicious. What does electrically charged really mean?

The Iodide in Potassium Iodide is electerically charged because Iodine

is bound to the positively changred Potassium Ion. But no solution

is stable unless all the pluses and minues balance out. Either

something real is going on, but the seller is using archane

non-standard language, or the claims are not real, imo. Magnetized

Iodine? Do metal filings stick to the bottle? I doubt if the

soliution is really magnetized.

Gail, I think each of the instructions is a separate alternative. I don't think you are supposed to do them all.

And you may very well decide not to use it at all. Zoe

I don't get it, these seem contradictory. Were they perhaps presented as a list

of alternative dosing regimens? Were they associated with specific ailments or

results from loading/painting tests? Or do they want you to run through them

in sequential order?

Thanks,

I typed them exactly as the appeared... it was entitled "Sequence and dosage" There was no further explanation of how to take it, or for what or why. I've reread all the other info that seem to be paragraphs from what I assume are Cayce's 'readings' with other info added about how iodine was made in sort of a novella... "The year was 1812 and Napoleon's army was thick into it with their arch rival across the channel, the British. The French were running short on willow charcoal, a necessary ingredient for the production of gunpowder. Someone suggested they try using seaweed as an alternative, which was in abundant supply. The chemist in charge of the reduction process, a fellow by the name of Bernard Courtois, noticed that the sides of the copper cooking vats were pitting. One day when he accidentally added too much acid to the mix a purple vapor rose up from the slurry, and crystals began forming on it's sides. He immediately sent a sample of these strange new crystals along 10 (I think that was a typo and meant to be "to") another chemist, Gay-Lussac, and iodine was isolated as an element for the first time."

Before this though he makes claims about Atomidine "countless people have subjected themselves to this ritualistic poisoning for more than three decades".

Zoe if you wish I could try and scan this literature and send it to you as an attachment. It's not the clearest copy so not sure how it would scan.

" Ritualistic poisoning, " is that what we're doing? ;)

Yeah, that bothered me. They may have a great product, I don't know, but just set forth the facts and leave out the editorializing.

Tomorrow is quite busy, but I intend to write down some questions and call.
