Guest guest
Dr. Brownstein talks about this in his book. He says that he has seen little progress with people who are severley deficient when supplementing with low doses. He says that it seems to take the high doses to get the receptors to open up and take it in. I think there may be information this this effect in his papers on the www.optimox.com website. I think there is also something to the detoxing. If you are high in the halides it needs a lot to displace them. B. If someone is very deficient in iodine, but they only take say 12.5 or 25 mgs. per day and not the 50 mgs. per day, will they still take care of the problem but it will just take longer? What's the most important reason to take the 50 mgs. per day? I want to know if I can achieve the same result and fix my deficiency by taking less even if it takes longer.
