Guest guest
Hi Folks, Don't know how many of you were here 3-4 years ago when I was flushing so much and getting such great results. I'm pretty healthy and now a raw foodist...but years of awful stress and possible overexertion have given me acid reflux (mostly the kind I can't feel) except to make my throat very irritated and the throat clearing. Not sure what is really wrong (could be many things) ENT says all is well throat up. I think part of my problem is possibly gallstones...so want to do another flush. QUESTION: do you think the Epsom salt will irritate the problem IF it is an ulcer? I know my esophagus is irritated at least....will the E.S. make things worse? How about the grapefruit juice? Thanks, --------------------------------- Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with .
Guest guest
Hi I have the same problem as you, really bad reflux. Try taking 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar (I got the braggs brand from trader joes) before a moderate to heavy meal. It helped me and a lot of others! Good luck Shefy of Dewberry Hill <cozad76078@...> wrote: Hi Folks, Don't know how many of you were here 3-4 years ago when I was flushing so much and getting such great results. Guest guest
Thanks Shefy, I have already been using the ACV. My main question is this...will the EPSOM SALT irritate a sensitive GI tract? Thanks, shefy gupta <shefy7@...> wrote: Hi I have the same problem as you, really bad reflux. Guest guest
I'm pretty sensitive and it didn't bother me much, just the taste. Try drinking it through a straw and add lemon juice. You can gargle with warm water afterwards too to get it off your throat. Best shefy of Dewberry Hill <cozad76078@...> wrote: Thanks Shefy, I have already been using the ACV. Guest guest
Yeah! I despise the taste for sure. I have not done a flush for three years because after about 10 flushes....I just could not take the E.S. for the taste. But since then, I've seen folks say on the list that we can add lemon or grapefruit juice to it. Cool! I prefer GF juice because once I used lemon juice in a flush with the olive oil...and the oil sat on top of the lemon juice and I couldn't keep any of it down (GF juice mixes with the oil). So I don't use lemon juice in my flushes at all anymore. AND...I chug the E.S. as much as possble. Sipping through a straw? Argh! I suppose I'll gear myself up for a flush in a couple of months after I do this round of doxycicline for a mycoplasma infection. Cheers, shefy gupta <shefy7@...> wrote: I'm pretty sensitive and it didn't bother me much, just the taste. Try drinking it through a straw and add lemon juice.
