Hi,

What make u think its your GB that's hurting? Colic pain etc could be due to

a lot of reasons..

Hi,

I just got my ultrasound done, and the doc said i had absolutely no

stones or inflammation. I asked him why was my gallbladder hurting so

much and he said probably due to acidity etc, and gave me some

antacids and pain killer prescription. I dont intend to take those

medicines.

Is there any other reason my gallbladder hurts so much? Does anyone

have any suggestions?

thanks,

Pindu

I would get my acid level checked. They are PH strips that you test by

a urine sample. You can change the acidity by diet. Good for you, the

pain medication will ONLY AGGRAVATE the inflamation and any medications

like pain pills etc., are known to turn your body acid. Doctor's are

not informed about alkaline/acid. There is a place on the internet,

actually several where you can pull up the foods that make your system

less acid.

Shefy I got some in the mail for free from some nutrition place when

I bought supplements. I think you can get them even at walgreens. I

have never seen it limited to a 6 though? They include a color chart

and shows where your at for acid/alkaline. I had fun with them too

and discovered that Ice Mountain water is pretty good, I also put it

in my moms " purification " water and it was horrible. Very acid.

I never felt better after changing my diet, I was shoving donuts and

had candy in my house at ALL times. I honestly didn't crave it and

that is a miracle coming from me.

I saw too a few days ago, all over the media that the antacids

pindumc's doctor prescribed actually CAUSE acid. You have to be so

careful. Antibiotics are also really bad. Cause your system to turn

acid too. Good luck with the test strips. I would just do a search

for PH test strips or check at a local store.

Best bet is to get a CT scan and figure out what is going on here--

might be another organ??

Now, I am new here but I have read that if they are lodged in the

common bile duct, Ultrasound may not see them.

Get a better doctor, someone needs to look into what is the cause of

your pain. Many things can cause these symptoms, even hepatitis.

http://www.dekalbsurgical.com/gallstones_and_gallbladder.html

" Less invasive imaging techniques are being investigated for

diagnosing common bile duct stones. Ultrasound, which is accurate in

diagnosing stones in the gallbladder, is not as sensitive for showing

if there are stones in the common bile duct. Studies are reporting

that special magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, which are

not invasive, are almost as accurate as ERCP and cholangiography in

identifying normal and abnormal ducts. The test is similar to the more

familiar CT scan, but the procedure is not widely available and may

not detect very small stones. "
